Windsor police are looking for two Halloween mask-wearing suspects who robbed a cabbie early this morning.

The cab was called to an address in the 2600 block of Sycamore Street shortly before 5 a.m. The cabbie arrived and heard a man calling for help from a darkened area, police said.

Believing the man who was calling him was his fare, the cabbie walked towards him and was attacked from behind by a second man.

The cab driver fell to the ground and one suspect held him while the second tried to cut off his change purse with a knife. The suspect was having trouble cutting off the purse so the cabbie took it off and handed it to him.

The pair took the keys to the taxi from the driver's hand and ran from the area behind a nearby apartment building. The cab driver was not harmed.

Both suspects are described as males aged between 20 and 25, both were about five feet seven inches tall and were wearing black clothing. Both men were wearing yellow black and red masks.
