The widow of a Sevierville man filed a $ 7.5 million lawsuit, claiming a restaurant and a taxi driver are responsible for her husband's death.

Edwina Montgomery says her husband had been drinking in an italian restaurant in Gatlinburg in June. She claims the restaurant staff called a taxi to drive him home. But the man and the taxi driver had a quarrel, and the driver left him on a side of a highway, claims Montgomery.

They found his body two days after under a bridge. The autopsy showed a fall caused his death. No criminal charges were filed.
